Here is a really nice Uniden Bearcat bc895xlt trunk tracker scanner. This is a base scanner. You use it in your home. It operates on 12 volt dc. You can also buy a car charger and use it in your car, if you want to. check out the pictures. It comes with a bnc connector on the back of the unit that converts to a standard old type antenna. It comes with the long antenna pictured. The unit works great.
